They are parts only, chassis, and speaker make it a rare find for collectors of tube radios. The chassis has power and was made in the United States, adding to its appeal. I found that the radio was made in 1936 and the further number is 116B. This was one of Philcos top of the line models of this year-5 band radio-AM-Longwave-and 3 shortwave bands with a 10.5″ speaker and shadow meter-as stated in an article.–Other info Code-121-15 ac volts-cycles 50-60 and 65 watts.–and a Number on the tag of 39-4170. I have included a picture of the tag that was inside the radio this unit came out of. When plugged in-the small light comes on-and appears that at least three of the tubes have a light in the filaments. The station selector panel moves by hand.
