Vintage Byers’ Choice Ltd The Carolers Butcher made in 1995 in Chalfont, PA. The butcher stands 13 1/4″ tall, 5 1/2″ wide and is 4″ from front to back. He wears a straw hat with a black satin hat band with a sprig of holly on it. His blue & white pin striped shirt is tucked into his grey wool pants. He has a black bow tie and sleeve garters on. There is a white half apron tied around his waist. On one arm he carries a large wooden ham and in his other hand is a wicker basket with sausages hanging from it. The sausages are partially wrapped in butcher paper and are elongated wooden beads. The amazing detail in the figure is all hand crafted with hand painted facial features and artist designed and hand sewn clothing. No detail is overlooked. The bottom of the base has the original foil stickers on it with the company name & location, the year and the place of manufacture on it. He is in excellent condition with one small chip on the bottom base (see last photo) that does not show from the sid
