For sale here is this fantastic Vintage Alexander Backer Co. Chalkware Shell Wall Lamp w/ its Original Label, and it Works! Love the simple shell shape and that there are gold accents on the ribbing of the shell. The shell measure approximately 11″ high by 14″ wide. It also has a newer cord so it is ready to hang and use – no rewiring needed. The shell turns off and on with a turn of the switch at the base. There are a couple spots on the shell where the paint has flaked away, but they do not detract from the shell, and could be touched up, though I personally would leave it be. See images provided. There are no chips or cracks to the actual shell body which is hard to believe as it is made from chalk.
