Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay. This listing is for a lovely vintage, Art Deco bracelet and earring set by crown Trifari. This set is a lovely mix of round, marquise, and baguette cut, clear rhinestones. The set appears to be rhodium plated, but I don’t know what base metal lies beneath that. The bracelet measures 7 inches in length and has a hinged, folding clasp, as well as a spring ring safety clasp and chain. The earrings are clip-on style. This is not an original set, as the bracelet dates earlier than the earrings, but by appearance they look like an original set, as both earrings and bracelet combine marquise, round, and baguette rhinestones. The bracelet is signed Trifari with the little crown emblem over the T but it doesn’t have the copyright symbol, which dates the bracelet to the years between 1939 and 1955. My hunch is that this bracelet dates closer to the 1939 era due to the fact that it strongly resembles some of the early KTF bracelets in design. The earrings are signed Trifari, with the crown emblem over the T and the copyright symbol, which dates them to the years between 1955 and 1969. I believe the earrings are Alfred Phillipe designs, based on photos of his work. I was able to find this design attributed to him. I don’t know about the bracelet, but he was designing for Trifari during its production and its design looks very similar to other designs by him. If he did design both pieces, it makes sense why they work together as a set, even though they weren’t originally manufactured as one. Both bracelet and earrings are in fantastic vintage condition, with some signs of wear and age. I can find no missing stones on either and the plating looks nice as well, so I think neither of these have seen much wear. The main sign of age is slight yellowing of some of the clear rhinestones. The pictures are to be considered as part of the description. Please use the zoom feature and review them for a better idea of condition. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
