Up for sale is a Vtg MAH JONG Set 156 Butterscotch Bakelite Tiles, 5 Racks, Counters, Dice, & Case!!! This is a very nice set and is made from butterscotch bakelite and is complete! The set includes all 144 original tiles with 12 extra tiles, 6 of which look original (as jokers) and 6 of which do appear to be from a different set as they don’t have the same black backs. All tiles are in fantastic shape with no major damage or anything to them. There are five racks included which are also all butterscotch bakelite and they are all in fantastic shape as well, with no cracks or breaks or damage or repairs that I can tell and just some light general signs of use. This set also comes with the dice (in great shape) and bakelite counter chips in acceptable condition which do have some chips and some look dog-chewed. For the counter chips I am uncertain if there is a full set of everything you need there, but hey it’s kind of an extra part as the tiles and racks are the base part of actually being able to play. The case is also in good condition and does have general signs of wear with nothing major. I cleaned everything lightly; wiped down with water and some soap and vacuumed out the case, so it is all relatively clean and in good shape there. This is a vintage set and has its quirks like any vintage set does so please do not expect it to be perfect, but it is all honestly in great shape for its age and you can tell whoever owned this set previously made sure it was well taken care of (besides the counters LOL). The case itself measures in at 19 5/8″ long, 9 1/2″ tall, and 3 3/8″ deep. It all weighs in at 10 pounds, 5.1 ounces total. I will pack with some newspaper in the actual box itself to prevent racks from rubbing against each other and tiles from jostling around. LOCAL PICKUP acceptable!
